Boys Soccer

Congratulations to David Romani II, who became Bishop Carroll soccer’s all-time leading scorer with his 44th goal on Sept. 10. 
The senior striker set the mark with a 30-yard blast during the second half of a 2-1 loss to Bishop McCort at Memorial Field in Ebensburg.  David supplants current Huskies assistant coach Jade Zatek, a 2008 graduate of Portage Area High School, as the school’s all-time goal scorer. Jade played for the Huskies as part of the Portage-Bishop Carroll soccer co-op. As a sophomore, David, the son of David and Annette Romani of Ebensburg, scored three goals to help the Huskies capture the 2007 District 6 Class A championship.
