Dr. JoAnn Long Alameer (1967) is married to King Mohammed Saleh of the Kingdom of Bahrain where she has lived for the past 37 years. They have five children and twenty-five grandchildren. Dr. JoAnn is also a professor of Management at the University of Bahrain.

Occupations of BC graduates in the medical field include but are not limited to physicans, surgeons, optometrists, dentists, pharmacists, veterinarians, nurses, researchers, therapists, hospital administrators, and nursing home care. Dr. George Yesenosky (1986) is an accomplished heart surgeon who has traveled the world sharing his expertise. Dr. Ron Duman (1972) is a professor of Psychiatry and Pharmacology at the Yale School of Medicine. His brother, Dr. John Duman (1964), is a Professor of Biological Sciences at the University of Notre Dame and has had several studies published. Dr. Christopher Donaldson (1994) is an orthopedic surgeon. Dr. Stephanie Sedor Young (1986) is also a doctor. Five Bishop Carroll graduates matriculated from the Duquesne University Pharmacy School in 2012.

Alan Baylock (1985) is the leader of the Alan Baylock Jazz Orchestra and has recorded several albums that have reached the top of the charts for Jazz music. Diego Mikey Byrnes (2005) is a member of the band Spontaneo, which just signed a contract with a recording company for their first rock album “For Those Who Can Whistle.” Michael (1971) and Bill (1972) McGuire are a two-man Irish band. Casey (1966) and Mary Seip Criste (1963) are a singing brother and sister duo. Many graduates also serve their parishes as organists, cantors, and music directors.

Stanley Carson (1971), Rev. John Durbin, STL (1971), Rev. Thomas More Garrett (1993), Rev. Myron Kirsch (1964), Rev. Msgr. David Lockard (1966), Rev. Jeremy Mohler (2001), Rev. Walter Moll (1963), Rev. Donald Dusza (1973), Rev. Salvator Stefula, TOR (1965), Rev. Brian Saylor (1988) and Rev. Augustine Lieb (1998) and Deacons Gary Gill (1972), Rick Golden (1968), and Sam Albrano (1969). Graduate Nate Meckey (2000) is currently studying with the Franciscans and William Garrett is studying with the Benedictans. Religious sisters include Sr. Corinne Kirsch, CSJ (1965), and Sr. Marjorie McGuire, CCW (1967), and many, many more.
Franciscan University’s new president Father Sean Sheridan (1980) is also a Bishop Carroll graduate.
Many Bishop Carroll graduates have gone on to strong careers in the military.
Kathleen Contres (1973) is the highest ranking Latina officer in the US Navy.
Andy Voyer (1998) was on board the USS Cole when it was struck by terrorists in Yemen.
Anthony Calandra (1983) is currently the commander of JBAB Navy base in Washington, D.C.
Fred Gaudlip (1982) has been teaching at the Air Force Academy in Colorado for many years.
Mike Tremel (2000) has been accepted into the Air Force Top Gun program.
Andrew Wolfe (2005) graduated from the Naval Academy and is a navy pilot.
Several of our alumni veterans are honored on a plaque in the cafeteria. We are all very proud of their service to this country through every branch of the military.
