Our students, families and alumni confirm that a Bishop Carroll education has a lasting and unique impact on future academic endeavors, career goals, and living a fulfilling life.
Choosing a faith-based education assures families that values and expectations taught at home will be reinforced in the classroom, in the hallways, on the playing field and in extracurricular activities. Students learn valuable life lessons in positive decision-making; personal responsibility; work ethic and discipline; and respect for oneself and others.
Our academic success is evident in the high percentage of students who go on to further their education at top colleges and universities both here in our region and across the country, as well as at our nation’s renowned military academies. Graduating seniors regularly receive collective scholarships exceeding $1 million.
Serving the church and the community is the privilege of all students throughout their high school experience at BC. The entire student body accumulates more than 5,000 service hours annually, including individual and group efforts such as teaching CCD, peer-ministry, regular personal and group visits to senior centers, blood drives, clothing drives, fundraising for local non-profit organizations, and much more.
Athletics and extracurricular activities are available to all students in many forms. In addition to thriving programs for student government, music, drama, art and service clubs, BC offers 10 junior varsity and varsity sports as a member of the Laurel Highland Athletic Conference. Coaches emphasis team work, personal best effort and accountability, and overall good sportsmanship. BC participates in the Positive Athletes program thanks to a generous sponsorship from First Student.
At Bishop Carroll, each student is valued as an individual, and teachers are personally invested in every student’s success.
