Can our family really afford a Catholic education at Bishop Carroll?
A Bishop Carroll education is more affordable than you may think. Scholarships, grants, and other financial aid sources are available to our families and students. Many factors determine the amount of aid given to each family.
Is faith taught consistently throughout the curriculum?
Yes. In addition to religion classes and Catholic Campus Ministry, each teacher incorporates morals, faith, and Catholicism into their classrooms. Classes begin with prayers and our teachers model the values taught by the Catholic faith. Families of other faiths report that that faith teaching has a profound, positive impact on their students’ character development and moral foundation.
Is transportation provided?
Yes. Transportation is provided to Bishop Carroll by all of the local school districts in the Bishop Carroll coverage area.
Are students of any academic ability accepted at Bishop Carroll?
Absolutely. Several academic tracks are available for students. We accommodate students with academic disabilities and lower abilities, while meeting the needs of average and above average students. An advanced, college preparatory track for the most academic students, includes AP and college-credit courses.
When is the registration period?
Registration begins in late January and runs through April. Financial aid information is due by mid-February. However, late and summer registrations are always accepted. Please call the school for more information.
Does Bishop Carroll offer current technology?
New technology is a priority, and upgrades are made annually. New computers and computer programs, along with SMARTBoards and digital projectors are available in most classrooms. An agreement with Saint Francis University allows science labs to borrow any advanced equipment that they need.
