Minemyer Family Builds Foundation at Saint Benedict

Achievement seems to run in the family for the Minemyers—and it all began with an education at Saint Benedict School (one of our grade school partners), followed by Bishop Carroll. Anna Marie Minemyer is an alumna of Saint Benedict herself and is the mother of four more alumni and one current student. She speaks proudly of her children, all of whom—except her youngest of course—attended Bishop Carroll Catholic High School.

New Athletic Stadium is Officially Open

The Huskies have a new place to call “home.”

The new athletic stadium, which will serve as home to a variety of student athletics, programs, and activities, was completed this fall by a dedicated team of volunteers, led by Bishop Carroll’s Athletic Chair Carol Driskel.

“I met with Joe Skura and Joe Ridgeley early in the spring of 2015 to discuss field issues,” she said. “At one point Joe Ridgeley said he would like us to play on our own field within the next two years, and that’s when the idea took off.”
