The Success of a BCCHS Graduate, Former Teacher and Principal

From the Bishop Carroll community, we want to extend a congratulations to former principal Kristie Wolfe. She will be featured in Faces of Columbia in the March issue of Inside Columbia Magazine.

Kristie graduated from Bishop Carroll in 1988, taught at BCCHS, and was principal before moving to Columbia, MO.

A Deacon’s Delicate Balance

A Bishop Carroll alumnus was recently featured in Our Sunday Visitor Newsweekly for his 25-year service as a deacon at St. Edward Catholic Community in Spring, Texas. In the profile, Joseph Mignogna '73, shares the delicate balance of life as a deacon--managing time for his spouse (Theresa, 1976 graduate of Bishop Carroll), children (and now grandchildren), a full-time job, and serving God and his parishioners.

A Season of Giving and Spreading Cheer

This Christmas season was truly a season of giving and spreading cheer for the students of Bishop Carroll. Students came together to carol at Cambria Care Center, Ebensburg's Rebekah Manor, the Ebensburg Senior Activities Center, and Senior Life and Skills. Decked in Santa hats and festive apparel, they sang Christmas classics, spread holiday cheer, and visited with the elderly.

Career Success Runs in the Family

Post-graduation success runs in the family for Tim Beck '00 and his sister Kerri Golden ’93. Both received awards for work in their careers this past November. We love to share the stories of alumni who are achieving success in their careers long after graduation, and encourage our current students to follow in their footsteps. As Kerri says, “I have always cherished my Bishop Carroll experience. I have also had the opportunity to teach many graduates of Bishop Carroll, and I am never disappointed!”
