Dear Ms. Vello, I just want to thank you for everything you have truly done for me during my years at Bishop Carroll. You are such a great teacher and more importantly such a great person. I have learned so much from you. Thank you for always talking to me when I am having a bad day. Without your help I don’t know if I would’ve gotten through my junior year. I truly am so grateful for you. You make my bad days better. You are such a caring person. Not only have you helped develop my writing and English skills, but you have also helped me grow as a person. Thank you for looking out for me and helping me along the way. I will miss you a lot after I leave Bishop Carroll. I remember having you for homeroom during my freshman year and since the beginning I was excited to have you because of how caring you are. Jenna told me how great of a teacher you were as well. I truly appreciate everything you have done for me, my classmates, and all of Bishop Carroll. Now let’s keep working because I only have half a year left and I still look forward every day for 2nd period and having you as my teacher. – Senior Jordan Bobroski

Thank you to all staff members at BC. You truly make BC special! – Senior Mason Beiswenger
My husband and I both attended Catholic Grade School. My school was Saint Francis Xavier, his was Saint Pat's in Gallitzin. I feel that the education students receive at Bishop Carroll is top notch. Annie made the Dean's List at Penn Highlands three out of the four semesters she was there. The high rigorous standards set at Bishop Carroll prepared her for Penn Highlands and Shippensburg. This year I saw how genuinely concerned staff was when James was in his accident. Our family was very appreciative of all the support he received. Catholic school education is a necessity in our country. Students are not just a number but a person. Catholic schools actually prepare their students to enter the work force, colleges, and life. Thank you for all the teachers at Bishop Carroll... You are all angels in disguise. – Parents Missy and Adam Clapper
Me and my husband both went to public school, and we chose Bishop Carroll because we felt that our child would get a better religious education. Bishop Carroll is a really great school because the students are more respectful to everyone. – Parents Matthew and Jeannine Estok
In a world that focuses on materialistic, individualistic, and minimalistic values, Christian values in general and Catholic values in particular, seem to be on the “back burner”. Bishop Carroll offers an above average education with an underlying focus on Christ, which is dismissed in our society. You just can’t get that “mix” in public education. That is why I send my child to Bishop Carroll”. I would also like to send a special thank you for Fr. Andriy for his religion classes that offers students a “deep dive” in Catholicism from scripture teachings to early church leaders. – Parents Chris and Vicki Conner
We chose to send our children to Bishop Carroll because as two 1992 graduates, we can attest to how BC instills important values, education, faith, and leadership into the lives of all who have had the privilege to attend. The loyalty and devotion of the teachers and staff, some of whom taught us all those years ago, make Bishop Carroll a great school. – Parents Rob and Jamie Heinrich
We have a deep appreciation and heart full of gratitude for Bishop Carroll Catholic. Of course, we believe in the quality, Catholic education that our children receive, but we also love the family atmosphere that BC has created for the students who attend there and the families who are involved with the school. Our children are happy there and like the small classes and attention they receive from teachers. Having both graduated from BC, we can say with confidence that the school has maintained its unique Catholic identity and mission over the years. It has always been our belief that any student, regardless of their faith, family background or academic ability will have the opportunity to be successful at BC because of the amazing faculty and administrators that support our students. For that we are very grateful. – Parents Tim and Kerri Golden
We send our children to BCCHS because we know they are being well prepared for higher education and it is tailored toward achieving their future career goals. BCCHS students enjoy a competitive learning environment, the newest technology, small class sizes, maximizing one on one attention and faith-based curriculum inspiring a culture of high morals and respect. It’s challenging to pick only one or two teachers or staff that we appreciate- one thing that is apparent at BC is that the staff is one team-all working together with a goal and a purpose-providing quality education and a safe environment for the students. I appreciate the opportunity to speak one on one with the teachers about our child’s class, or seeing teachers and staff cheer on students playing in a basketball game. It’s great when administration goes the extra mile to find a safe way for students to remain in school rather than online during these unprecedented times with COVID. It’s all about the student and that is what I appreciate the most and recognize with the staff at Bishop Carroll. – Parents Andy and Georgette Ostinowsky

I want to thank my favorite teacher in my time which was 1000% J Nagy. His class really challenged me, and it made me want to actually put effort in to succeed. Out of all of my high school classes I took the most from his classes because I feel like I laid down some ground that I carried over into college like for example studying for tests. Also, I feel like we just constantly laughed in the class. Nags is so down to earth and funny it’s impossible to not stay engaged in his class and have a good time while doing it.
– Braden Przybys, Class of 2016
