Celebrating a New Year for Catholic Education

“Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your minds, so that you may discern what is the will of God—what is good and acceptable and perfect.”

-Romans 12:2

Amidst constant and rapid innovation, we are continually blessed with new opportunities and conveniences that can make our lives easier and even more fulfilling. It’s important to be thankful for advancements in technology, medicine and other fields and to appreciate the positive impact they make for us and for people and communities around the world.

At the same time, it can be easy to overlook the “fundamentals” that give our lives meaning and keep us closely connected to our families, neighbors, friends and, of course, God. Catholic schools like Bishop Carroll offer students a unique environment in which they can benefit from rigorous academics and access to technology and innovation, while immersed in a community that is firmly built on and driven by faith.

While “renewing their minds,” our students—emerging young adults, poised to be future leaders—can actively move closer to God in a world that seems to move farther away. Just like generations of students before them, they deepen their faith through prayer, study and fellowship, all as part of their school day. From classrooms and hallways to the cafeteria and sporting events, with leadership from teachers and coaches, BC students keep faith at the center, continually “discerning the will of God.”

Preserving this unique learning environment and assuring that students have access to the highest quality academics and latest technology is a critical mission. Your prayers and your support for our school make this possible. Please consider a gift to help us celebrate another year of Catholic education on Husky Hill.
